ELEMENTS OR PRINCIPLE USE IN DESIGNING AND PAGE COMPOSITION
THE GRID- Grid bring organization not only to the design, but to the process of creating design. Create a strong grid and if the dates, timer, image and colors all change, your basic designer will feel related.
EMPHASIS & SCALE- To communicate the message to the viewer your focal point. you want to use scale and emphasis. Emphasizes the object by blurring the background to make it stand out of focusing it.
BALANCE- white space gives our eyes paths to follow through the design. Give each elements on the page some space to breathe and balance between positive and negative space will emerge organically.
RULES OF THIRDS- It's a fundamental guideline that is so simple and effective, it often feels like a cheat; divided your design into three rows and three columns.
RULES OF ODD- Pleasing composition seem to often have an odd number of elements placed in the foreground, most commonly three.
